
French Fries
Description:
Golden, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these classic French fries are a timeless side dish loved around the world.
Ingredients:

4 large Russet potatoes

Vegetable oil for frying

Salt to taste

Optional: black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, or parsley for garnish
Preparation:

Peel and Cut: Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into thin sticks or wedges, depending on your preference.

Soak: Soak the potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry thoroughly.

Fry Twice: Heat oil to 325°F (165°C) and fry the potatoes in batches for about 5 minutes until soft but not browned. Remove and let rest.

Increase oil temperature to 375°F (190°C), then fry the potatoes again until golden and crispy.

Drain and Season: Remove, place on paper towels to drain excess oil, and immediately season with salt and other desired spices.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve hot with ketchup, aioli, cheese sauce, or alongside your favorite burger or sandwich.
